Why you Should HODL VeChain

VeChain is an independent block chain that did an ethereum ICO, and has just completed a token swap onto its own proprietary block chain. Their business model is to use block chain technology for logistics applications. They have some big clients, already, including BMW, and the Chinese government. Now, I'm not a big fan of the Chinese; so much so, that I won't buy NEO simply because it's based there. But the Chinese like money, and VeChain serves their practical needs, so it will be fine, I think. I also think more big clients are going to be using it. So it has genuine value based on real world use. It is also a staking currency. The screenshot below shows staking rewards that I've made in the last hour having just staked my VET. Most staking coins don't show immediate returns like that. There is no minimum requirement to stake, although if you stake 1,000,000+, you get a higher rate of return.

The Different VeChain Tokens

There are several different VeChain tokens, but for the everyday HODLer, you only have to know about 2.

VET

The VET token is what you stake. Simply hold VET in your wallet, and you'll earn staking rewards.

VTHO

The VTHO token is used to pay fees for smart contracts generated in the actual use of this coin in smart contracts for real world purposes. It's also what you receive as a staking reward. VTHO's value is based on its real world use.

How to Get it

It's on several exchanges. I used Binance. Once you have it, simply download the wallet app onto your phone, deposit it. (Make sure you deposit it into the correct token on your wallet!) Then just sit back and relax while you get passive income from a blockchain that can only increase in value as it achieves greater and greater corporate adoption. I intend to buy more in the near future.
