Dinner in Minutes! | Healthy Eating! Sprouted Chili Stir Fry

Good day my Steemian Foodies! Today has been a busy day!

We’ve been running about, preparing for our trip to visit our daughter.

She’s due to have a baby shortly and we plan to drive our travel van to be with her during this exciting time! We’ll camp along the way staying in State and National Parks. Should be fun! I’ll be sharing with you along the way!

So now its dinner time, we’re really hungry and I don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. I’m thinking something crunchy, green and quick to make!

Perhaps something with Sprouts! Do you love sprouts? They’re so easy to grow and a wonderful addition to so many dishes. The great thing is they’re grown indoors! You don’t have to have a garden! No soil needed!

Sprouts are so nutritious! Rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, K and high in Iron! Wow!

They can be quite pricey, so if you can, sprout them yourself! Just a few seeds will produce quite a few sprouts!

I add sprouts to salads, smoothies and to one of my favorite dishes......Stir Fry!

Tonight we’re making Sprouted Chili Stir Fry!

I love making Stir Fry Veggies! It’s a great meal to make using just about any fresh veggies you have on hand. The combinations are endless!

Ingredients

  • Mung Bean Sprouts
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Onions
  • Red and Yellow Peppers
  • Fresh Garlic Cloves
  • Organic Vegetable Broth
  • Celery
  • Olive Oil
  • Gluten Free Tamari Sauce
  • Chili Garlic Sauce

Preparation

  • Wash and chop all vegetables. Mince Garlic.

  • Saute Onions for a couple of minutes, add minced garlic

  • Add all vegetables except the sprouts. Stir, add Tamari, Salt, Pepper and Chili Garlic Sauce and vegetable broth as desired. Saute for no more than 5 minutes. I like to have crunchy veggies!

  • Now add the Sprouts!

Time to enjoy! So delicious!

How about that, quick healthy dinner! You can serve it with fresh brown rice if you like! We prefer it alone!

My kind of food. I love bean sprouts but never buy them anymore bc of the listeria and salmonella poisonings. There are a lot of things I "should" do and plan to do but never get around to it. What's the word for that? Procrastination!! lol
