Thanks @bitatlas. I used a Pentax K3 with a vintage lens, the SMC Pentax-A 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5.
Oh cool! Now that you say that... I also have some vintage lens... Need to check them!
If you can find a vintage lens that works with your camera body, give it a try. You can often get great results without spending big bucks on a modern lens. I was pleasantly surprised by the sharpness of this lens, which only cost me $5.
