Hitchhiking in Iceland

One of the problems if you decide to hitchhike around the Iceland in the winter is not the that no one wants to pick you up, but more like a there is no one to pick you up. Except few good people driving trucks in the middle of nowhere, and one of the first words this driver said was: "I never saw a hitchhiker here. "
Well I guess the fucking freezing cold and snow adds some heaviness to that but. We are all safe and sound in the middle of summer to come in Belgrade wishing snowy and cold days back. :)
