Come with Me to take a Look at This Sad Story…

Tuesday 12th of march, most of the country has the electrical power back, I live in one of the lucky places where we didn’t have such a bad blackout, we spend 12hours without power on Friday and then again on Sunday, and went out of running water for little over 5 hours, but in some cases as my family (mom, sister and dad) they were 50+ hours without power, they are still without running water, they have to go to a friend’s house 30 min from where they live to get some water, and they are lucky why? Cause there are people still without electrical power 90+ hours and counting.

Now Why This Happen?

Well that depends on who you ask, the Regimen that has the power and control of the government said is a sabotage from the opposition with help from the EEUU government, according to them we were victims to a cyber attack from several actually, they have spend the last 2 days playing the same speech from Maduro explaining this theory of them, on national television over and over again like trying to get people to believe it.

But here is the thing with this, Venezuela is a country divided into 23 states and we have 2 hydroelectrical plants and several thermoelectrical ones, if we did suffer one cyber attack like they said we did, on one of our hydroelectrical plants, that would explain that the states that are provided their power from that plant to be affected, but that doesn’t explains why all the other states were affected too.

They common knowledge in my country is that our electrical system in general is in deep lack of some serious maintenance, we had have some blackouts before not in this scale of the whole country going down, but we have expend several days without power at a time, is something actually typical that the power goes out at least 2 times at month, so the explanation that the electrical system failure was due to the fact the system itself is in a deep state of abandonment is the logical one.

In this country we don’t have any free media to give the news impartially so, we don’t actually have any news from what is happening around the country other than what we see on social media or what our family and friends that live in other parts of the country different that where we live tell us.

The problem with the water is due to the lack of electrical power in most cases, but not in all, in some it was a problem that had been going on for years due to lack of maintenance from the water company.

So, yeah how do you explain that the electrical and water system are failing due to lack of maintenance all around the country when you are the government that have had the control over those companies for the past 20 years? You yell sabotage is easier than to take the blame, cause don’t forget we live in Narnia and everything is fine here, we are fine.

As always, thank you very much for reading me and
I hope to read your comments!
