Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is facing more accusations of anti-Semitic remarks. A senior member of her party has rebuked the House freshman for her words, which he said conjured a “vile anti-Semitic slur.” Rep. Eliot L. Engel (D-N.Y.), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has demanded an apology over the comments Omar made on Wednesday. This was all less than a month after she was condemned by both parties for suggesting that pro-Israel lobbying groups and Jewish politicians influence American politics.
