A huge village under the ground

There is a mysterious village in China. All the houses here are below the ground. There are 3,000 people in this village.

It's strange that this village of Sanemansiya is seen in the country. Here are some thousands of people living in the ground floor for 200 years living in the ground floor. At least ten thousand houses were found in the area under the soil. These types of rooms are called 'Yeyodong'. This Chinese word means 'cave house'.

There are still three thousand people living in this cave houses in Henan province. It is known that at least six generations of these residents are living here. These houses are made from 22-23 feet deep in the soil. They range from 33 to 39 feet in length.

In these houses, the temperature is not less than 10 degrees in winter and 20 degrees above the summer. According to historians, in this cave houses of Henan province, 200 years of human life lived in China's mountainous areas 4000 years ago, these houses were built in the Bronze era.

Currently these cave houses have all modern facilities including electricity connection. Locals claim that these houses are not damaged by the earthquake. Since 2011, the village has been protected by the administration.

These rooms are currently opened to tourists.
