Notifications!
In an effort to improve the user experience and increase traffic on your live streams, we are implementing the long awaited notification system. This will allow you as a streamer to make sure your audience knows when you're going live, and in turn improve the overall experience for viewers as well.
All notifications are "opt-in" meaning you have to enable them manually before you start getting notifications.
3 different types of notifications will be available soon;
- Discord Notifications [ LIVE ]
- Email Notifications [ WIP ]
- Push Notifications [ WIP ]
You can already try Discord Notifications! Head to the Vimm Discord and use !help, the VimmBot will guide you through the process of linking your Discord account to your Vimm.tv account.
Bug Fixes & Optimizations
Some streamers have reported a bug that would prevent them from going live after losing connection to our server. That was due to the server thinking you were already live, thus not allowing you to connect another encoder.
This issue is now fixed and OBS should be able to automatically reconnect after an unexpected disconnection.
