WORKING FOR FREE VS. EXPOSURE | HEV 92 [DTUBE EXCLUSIVE]

in #vlog6 years ago (edited)

Many young folks are confused on how to do this.

This is a take on my experience doing both. Any of this sound familiar to you?

Very good topic. @grantcardone also talks about how people always complain when they work for free but we do so many things for free that we do not think about. If it grows us forward and does get us more opportunities then it is probably worth it.

Hey! Thanks for the reply!

Grant isn't wrong per-se but at the same time, you have people that have put a lot of their heart and soul into getting noticed and to be asked to do something for free is pretty disrespectful, especially if you do not know if you'll be compensated for it.

Some are more blessed than others in this but who knows.

I understand your side. It depends on your industry. As a real estate agent I get paid only when I get the results my clients are looking for. There are a lot of things we do for free. So by not grumbling about going the extra mile you tend to get more referrals and life long clients more than if you treat someone like a transaction.

Both people need to have a hopeful win and not taken advantage of.
