I was watching this with kids running and shouting behind me, around me all over me. It got me to the point of the part where breathing was being discussed. I was thinking this is a nice thing. Maybe this is what I should do and practice, too. And then a commotion behind made me just snapped lol! This breathing thing takes a lot of practice haha!
Yes, it does take practice! I haven't mastered it yet! 🤣
But simply bringing awareness to our condition, brings consciousness and intention together and gradually it should get easier... Although, by the time we think we've mastered it, it may well be the kids are grown and moved out! Haha!
Haha! At least we have mastered it lol! No wonder grandparents are that patient.
@crowbarmama you are seriously such a natural on camera! I thoroughly enjoyed every second of both of these interviews!
I loved your advice to just breath. That's something i'm really working on too. Your examples of noticing when you are holding tension in your body really resonated with me. I'll randomly notice that my shoulders are up in my ears for no reason sometimes and am working to let the tension go and breath.
You made a great point about working on building these habits when there isn't something stressful going on so that we are prepared when stress does come our way.

Thanks @coruscate! I did a yoga nidra training course and it really helped me become aware of where I was holding tension. Fascinating the connections we overlook between our mind and body. Glad you got something from it! 💖
@Steemcafe might need to open a side business helping people realize their untapped potential. He really made me look inside at things I hadn't really considered. This might be better than therapy!! 😁

Hi Lea. @coruscate. You are a friend. Our 1st 1 on 1, I felt I could talk to you for hours. Funny it seems like that was so long ago; it was only about 3 months ago. Grinning while I write this. Honored & please share time together. For all the talk, prepaeing,writing. Video shots, editing, posting, & everything else that goes into posting; let alone the mental, physical, & emotional energy that goes into Steem. The greatest reward has been the relationships I've made....Super proud to say. "I know that lady singing karaoke."

Jess, I am resonating with everything you're saying. The financial struggles, living in a small space, building a house and homestead with kids, parenting, navigating relationships under stress, working hard to meet lifestyle goals and having everyone look at you like you're crazy!
