  1. Somnambulist:
    My friend was taking sleeping pills, which turned her into a somnambulist whenever she took one.

  2. Insomnia:
    She has suffered from insomnia for many years and has taken sleeping pills her doctor prescribed.

  3. Somnolent:
    She said the problem is that she's rarely somnolent because her brain is always on and her mind is always racing.

  1. Somnambulist:
    In my haste, I grabbed my shotgun and shot the man carrying a fruit salad and a bag from the grocers because he wouldn't drop the stolen items, only to find out later that he was a somnambulist.

  2. Insomnia:
    So now I sit in the padded wall chamber expecting to become an insomniac.

  3. Somnolent:
    The nurse, a irresponsible somnolent, feeds me some goop filled with this pasty green shit in it.


Good work! One can never be too careful, and someone parading as a salad-carrying somnambulist could in fact be a crazed murderer, or even a .... terrorist!!!

ha! He was probably a black dude to boot!

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. My nervous friend displayed disturbing characteristics of a somnambulist when she unconsciously played piano in the middle of the night right before the concert was scheduled.
  2. Drinking caffeinated drinks will only worsen the symptoms of insomnia.
  3. A somnolent driver should take a quick nap at the side of the road instead of continuously driving.

    I've been fighting with insomnia for over 2 years and the medicine became like an addiction.

    The somnolent mood made me not be focused on what the teacher was explaining.
