  2. Global warming is really a big issue if we will not intervene now it will effect a lot our generations.
  3. It was very big company convention and we were happy to be part of the organization committe.

  1. He is so stubborn that no one can ever PREVENT him from doing what he’s planning to do.

  3. A CONVENTION is a good way for the organization members to discuss plans and areas of improvement, and unwind afterwards.

    Dentists always say, "In order to prevent cavities, you should limit your intake of sugar," and it's true.

  2. Intervene.
    The sheriff had to intervene on the domestic abuse call that came in that evening because the deputies were out on another case.

  3. Convention.
    The political conventions these days are really getting out of hand.

  1. Prevent:
    The prevention technique, developed by an autistic child, has been used to save lives since the turn of the century.

  2. Intervene:
    Would you intervene between a shark with a freaking lazer-beam attached to its head and Dr. Evil standing behind of laser protected wall.

  3. Convention:
    At the convention, a man, known only as the "Spanker," wore a hand bag over one arm and was dressed like a woman.
