Walking New York City - Part 5 - The Lake & Bow Bridge
The Lake is a beautiful part of Central Park and there are some heavily wooded walking trails around its perimeter. There were plenty of locals and tourists taking advantage of the row boats rentals. And it's also very relaxing to stop in for a cold beer at the Loeb Boathouse.

It was pretty good weather for the time of year. The last time I did one of those boat rental things, it was a canoe and I was the only one who did any paddling. I ended up dripping sweat and it just wasn't very attractive... or comfortable. Lesson learned. It's easier to take pictures from whatever shore you might be on. :)
These big parks in large cities are such an oasis from busy life @cognoscere. I'm so happy that we have so many in London too.
I have been to Central Park but I don't have many memories of it to be honest. Mind you. It was a long time ago.

There are so many boats on the river ready for giving rentals. Tremendous bridge viewing.
