Wanchain promotion through the use of memes

Some weeks ago I wrote several articles about the Wanchain project, and how the people who created it are figuring out solutions so different blockchains could directly interact with each other.

In case someone doesn’t understand what this is all about, in short words, different blockchains are like different universes, meaning they operate without ever being “aware” of the assets nor of the transactions that are happening in other blockchains, they were simply not designed to be natively interoperable.

What Wanchain is doing, is creating new protocols that are solving this problem, being Ethereum-based, the first blockchain compatible with the Wanchain platform was Ethereum, but in the coming months Bitcoin is also going to be compatible, and their plan is to add as many different blockchains as possible, and make them able to interact with each other.

One of the most important implications a project like Wanchan can have for the blockchain industry, is that it will allow for cross-chain smart contracts to exist, this means that a smart contract will be able to trigger transactions on different blockchains simultaneously, therefore, Wanchain will increase the sophistication of financial instruments that operate on the blockchain industry.

Some of the articles I wrote about Wanchain were the introductory post where I provided a general overview of the project, the second article is where I explained the potential that a project like Wanchain has for the entire crypto industry, and there was also a very important element in the Wanchain project that was about their strategy to encourage the development of multi-chain dapps.
