mein letzter Beitrag ist leider ein bisschen her, aber ich habe ein paar Fotos gemacht, um euch das Zusammenbauen von Modellfiguren zu erklären und evtl. damit zu erleichtern. Leider ist meine Fotobox immer noch nicht angekommen und wir werden noch eine Weile auf die qualitativ hochwertigen Bilder meiner Figuren warten müssen aber erst mal.......

Hidiho Steemians, Unfortunately my last post is a bit away, but I took a few pictures to explain the assembling of figures and possibly make it easier. My photo box has still not arrived and so we will have to wait a bit for the high quality pictures of my figures but first.

Phase 1

Raster entfernen.

Remove from the grid.

Um ein Modell zusammenzubauen müssen die einzelnen Teile erstmal aus dem Raster entfernt werden. Dafür benutzt man entweder ein Skalpell oder ein dafür geeignetes Schneidewerkzeug. Wichtig ist hierbei, dass beim Entfernen aus dem Raster das eigentliche Bauteil nicht beschädigt wird und die Naht an der es hängt sauber entfernt wird.

To assemble a model the individual parts must first be removed from the grid using either a scalpel or a suitable cutting tool. Important here is that when you remove the grid the main part of the figure is not damaged and the seam on which it hangs is cleanly removed.

Phase 2

Bauteil entgraten.

Remove the mouldline.

Nachdem das Bauteil sauber aus dem Raster entfernt wurde wird es noch entgratet. Das Bedeutet, dass der nicht gewünschte Gussrand, der sich wie eine Naht über das Bauteil zieht, abgekratzt wird. In manche Ecken kommt man besser mit einem Skalpell aber für das Grobe reicht ein Gussgratentferner.

After the component is cleanly removed from the grid, the mouldline must be removed. This means that the unnecessary cast edge that pulls like a seam over the component is scraped off. In some corners you better get with a scalpel but for the most of it you may use a Mouldline Remover.

Phase 3

Kleben.

Für das Zusammenkleben benötigt man je nach Material den passenden Kleber. Für Plastik benutzt man Plastikkleber und für Resin benutzt man Sekundenkleber. Diesen verteilt man auf den Rändern des Bauteils und schon lässt es sich mit einem anderen verbinden (Plastikkleber klebt nicht, es löst die Oberfläche des Plastik an welches sich mit dem anderen Bauteil verbindet).

For gluing together you need, depending on the material, the right glue. For plastic you use plastic glue and for resin you need super glue. Put the glue on the edges of the component and you can put the single parts together (plastic glue does not stick it dissolves the surface of the plastic, which connects to the other component).
