| April came, almost all the snow melted, flowers began to appear. My little botanical discovery of this spring is crocuses. | I first saw bright yellow crocuses. | Первыми я увидела ярко жёлтые крокусы. |

| And next is another very large flower. | А рядом ещё один очень крупный цветок. |
| And a little further away is such a bright light - orange crocus. | И чуть подальше вот такой яркий огонёк – оранжевый крокус. |
| Crocuses in the wild grow to the south. Therefore, we can see them only in flower beds and flowerbeds, where they are specially planted in our places. | Крокусы в дикой природе растут южнее. Поэтому у нас их можно увидеть только в цветниках и на клумбах, где их специально высаживают. |
| But the flower is not only beautiful, but also useful. It have been used as a spice since ancient times. Of them, also from time immemorial, they obtain yellow dye for various purposes. | Но цветок не только красивый, но и полезный. Его рыльца издревле используются как пряность.
