My #wednesdaywalk started along a local walking track that passes by a retirement village and it was there that I came across this lovely little bridge - but what really caught my eye, was the reflection that was shining off the top of the water onto the underside of the bridge.

In real time, the reflections were moving in synchronicity with the water and this really made it sparkle, it was such a pretty sight to see and the light was a very brilliant white.

Then I walked a little further, only to realise the other side of the bridge had a beautiful sandstone facade... although, I couldn't see the reflections from that side but I did find these little guys instead.

Then last of all, but not least, I was on the home straight when I glanced upwards and spotted a wildlife box hidden in the treetops. Not uncommon in wildlife areas, but I had never noticed this particular one, despite talking this walk countless times before.

If you have a look through the opening, you might be able to see the same rounded grey shape that I could just see from the ground, which looks very much like a sleeping Possum, curled up inside and looking very warm indeed.

This is very true - I think this particular space is a really lovely area for the residents of the retirement home and provides a lovely sheltered spot where they can sit and look out over the water. Thanks for commenting :)

You're very welcome and yes, they were absolutely stunning... of course the photos don't do any justice at all however, I'm just glad I was able to capture those sharp lines at the bottom :)
