The Lotus Flower in Thailand - A Symbol of Buddhism !!
My Wednesday Walk in JJ Park in Bangkok , Thailand which is another massive huge park in Thailand that cover a area of about 60 acres and has many varieties of very colorful flowers and spectacular huge trees but what mostly drew my attention was the Sacred Lotus Flowers.
They had a whole area just dedicated for these beautiful lotus flower actually there were three man made ponds which contained all these different colored sacred lotus flowers.
Nelumbo Nucifera, also known as Indian lotus or the sacred lotus as in Thailand and other Buddhism countries is a spiritual flower amongst the Buddhism Religion you will find lotus flowers everywhere in Thailand especially in sacred places like Temples and even though this flower pushes up through muddy waters to bloom this beautiful flower it symbolizes purity to the heart and mind and bring harmony with it.
The lotus is called Bua in Thai and it plays a very important role in the everyday life of Thai people because it's associated with Buddhism and Brahmanism it makes it a very scared flower as a offering.
It is known that the Lotus Flower is one of the most ancient flowers on this planet the petals of this beautiful Lotus Flower open one by one meaning of this in the Buddhism Religion is that it is representing long life and good health by opening to life slowly with harmony and purity.

I have always been intrigued by how this gorgeous flower is able to grow in almost all sort of places. For me, it is the symbol of life and beauty fighting adversity and hardships.
