Wednesday Walk - InterContinental Bangkok: Luxury Hotel in Sukhumvit !!
Hi everyone here we are for another beautiful #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay , normally Wednesday's is my day off from work but today i was asked by my boss if i could assist at a meeting with my work colleagues.
The good thing about this meeting it wasn't going to take place to mid afternoon so i could still have my Wednesday morning sleep in and i was happy about this because i could also catch up on some personal stuff of my to.
The meeting was taking place in the heart of the city at a hotel called the InterContinental Hotel in Bangkok which is about 20 minutes from my place by Skytrain very convenient and the hotel is just down the stairs from the Skytrain , so it's a 10 minute walk from my place to the train station then a 5 minute walk along the skywalk down the stairs and your in the hotel.
A lovely garden just out front of the hotel very welcoming.
The InterContinental Hotel is within the Central Business District and nearby many of the city's most exciting dining and shopping locations. The hotel is in a very convenient location with the BTS SkyTrain station directly adjacent the hotel.
After the meeting i took a walk around the city just to unwind i snapped a couple more looking up photos and headed back to the train station before peak hour started.
This was a shrine out front of a shopping center the photo taken from about the skywalk all major shopping malls have shrine's out from of there complex for good luck.
Back at the the BTS Skytrain obove ground and it was getting to sunset after my brief walk around the hotel block and i just wanted to get home a write up my @wednesdaywalk and relax.
A beautiful sunset starting to unfold over the city with some beautiful reflections appearing in them glass building and my train is coming i hope you enjoyed my unexpected visit to the city today.

Awesome photography @hangin it looks so warm and tropical. I like the sunset, flowers, and the colorful Hindu shrine.

Thanks a=mate and neck is a lot better now even took a couple of looking up shots yesterday
And yesterday I came across a new mural being painted, its going to be cool walking by it each day and tracking the progress as it grows
