Wednesday Walk into the Graffiti World !!
Today another beautiful sunny blue sky day in Bangkok city and my good friend @bkkshadow called me up and asked me if i wanted to join him in a walk today he had a place in mind , he said i would like this part of Bangkok city.
This local area of Bangkok City where we were heading to was a 10 minute train ride from our places and you get of at Saphan Taksin station , hop of the train and just walk the area and you will see many styles of graffiti artwork.
We were heading towards Charoen Krung Road which is the main road in Saphan Taskin it is also well known for its street art. This major road has many small streets or alleyways that branch off of this major road is where you will see all these brilliant murals.
From Saphan Taskin station you walk along this major road Charoen Krung Road till you get to a street called Soi 32 now this was about a 20 minute walk to get to this Soi 32 from the train station, Soi in Thai means street and this is the main Soi you want to explore.
In this Soi 32 you will see a lot of murals that have been done by Dutch artist Daan Botlek he was invited to Thailand as part of BUKRUK 2016 festival and did most of this work then. My three favorites ones that i saw in Soi 32 were the Hammer Head Sharks the Grimmlin carrying his two little friends in the Thai baskets and the mad Hyena shooter.
For a while there the Thai people never appreciated or liked street art work mainly because they never understood what it was all about but now they love it and respect it and even invite good street artist to their country to have the best artwork done and some can be fun to have photos taken with like my mate here @bkkshadow
And you will see a lot of Thai people and graduated university students coming here to have there gradation photos done with these beautiful colorful pieces of artwork.
You will see the the majority of the street art in Bangkok here and certainly the best examples all clustered around Charoen Krung Soi's 28, 30 and 32 so we walked on further to check out these other Soi's.
In Soi 28 you can spot this large bird murals simply by looking up and many other paintings are dispersed throughout the unnamed narrow back alleys which were very interesting to walk through and seeing how the local people live.
There was lots to be found if you walk in Soi 28 and just cruise around the unnamed narrow back alleys and the local people were very friendly to talk to and they have many local trendy Thai food shops around if you want to stop for a beer and a feed.
This toilet door was cool it even had the icon Sydney Habour Bridge graffitied on the door from my home country Australia.
And of course this was funny to see the two most popular trouble makers the Trump and the Jong at it again....lol :)
This awesome piece of work you will see in the corner of Soi 30 and it expresses the most suffering of our today's world with kids not only in Thailand but all round the world and it is so awesome that we have Unicef doing their up-most to bring these suffering kids in the world together.
On this mural you will see all the names of the people that have helped kids around Thailand working with Unicef just amazing to see that people do still care.
Thank you @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk challenge it's certainly giving me more of a boost to get out there and see the beautiful things around us.

I'm not a fan of graffiti but I have to admit that what you got here is remarkable.
