A Wednesday Walk Contest by @tattoodjay “Beautiful Place”
This is my entry in @tattoodjay Wednesday walk photography contest.
I am from the USA and now live in the Philippines with my wife and son as missionaries. I have never before lived in a tropical climate, so every day I am seeing new things and enjoying the beauty of the Pearl of the Orient, the Philippines.
It is light here by 5:30 and I get started very early. Here are a few photos of my morning walk. I hope you enjoy!
My name “Daddy William” is what the local kids call me. I love the sound!
So many unique cloud formations this time of the year.
I wish I would have been ready to get a shot of this eagle as it was airborne but directly in front of me and only 25 feet away. But this beauty was riding the wind currents and was very far above me before I could get off a shot. One day I am going to get a helmet cam for my motorcycle helmet and also one day a good digital camera with a telephoto lense. Until then I do the best I can with what I have.
What a beautiful area, so green and I love those cloud formations, thanks for joining Wednesday walk tip!

Love the 2nd photo! The mirrored coconuts were vaguely noticeable with the 1st photo as there were too many leaves fronting them..
Daddy William sounds good but Daddy Will sounds much better...you wont want Willy.
