As winter moves along we still have the snow creating a winter wonderland!

We have waves and waves of snow...

Great photos! They say we have more snow on the way oh, I have no idea where we are going to put it!

Sure looks like a winter wonderland beautiful shots

thanks for Joining Wednesday Walk !tip

Yes, it's drastically cold here right now - extreme cold with -40 Celsius, but the snow does make for quite the wonderland!
I was concerned about taking the camera out in the cold that it might kill my battery, but I kept it warm in my pocket in between shots, so it was fine.
Thanks for the SBD tip!

Most welcome with the tip its my way of saying thanks, I do the same with my camera in the cold, Have it in my jacket and just take it out when I need to take shots
Stay safe and warm

What a cool theme! So many waves in your snow. :)) But my fav photo (as I have all too much snow here) was the clouds over the tree.

Yes, I looked up and saw the sun rays shining through, not clouds but the smoke from our chimney. I was happy how the picture turned out too!

The snow is really beautiful, I've never seen one in real before, so I always imagine they will be fluffy and all... hahaha

There are many kinds of snow. This last bit of snow came down all light and fluffy but it is really cold right now. When it starts to warm in the spring the snow gets more wet and sticky - great for making snow men and snow sculptures!

It looks great with all this snow. Here in Germany, it's turning to spring at the moment. Today we have 10 Celsius plus.

Oh spring seems so far away here. We seem to be stuck in a deep freeze for one of the longest periods we are having below -30 Celsius temperatures and it's getting a bit much. I'm glad with the cold we are getting some sunshine though. that makes it not so bad and it is a dry cold so it doesn't chill you to the bones it'll just nip your nose real quick!

Although I'm not much of a winter person, your photos sure make it look beautiful. We also had a lot of snow in southern Germany.

What I do like, is the "art", the cold puts on our windows. Yours looks great, particularly with that "crackled" globe.

I love the frost art and it always brings to mind the poem
Frost by E. J. Pratt

The frost moved up the window-pane Against the sun’s advance, In line and pattern weaving there Rich scenes of old romance.
Armies on the Russian snows; Cockade, sword and lance–
It spun a web more magical, Each moment creeping higher, For marble cities crowned the hills With turret, fane and spire,
Till when it struck the flaming sash, The Kremlin was on fire

That is amazing photography of the cold conditions up north, thanks @porters

Wow! Certainly lovely pictures and here in South Africa we hardly ever see snow. It's now summer here and some parts of the country are sweltering in +40 degrees Celsius. Our two month long winters are very mild compared to yours. Stay warm and take care! Blessings!

We are like totally opposite to you in south Africa!
We have been having some extreme cold -40 Celsius weather.
And we only get 2 months of summer and 5 months of winter!
But winter here does create some beautiful winter wonderlands which keeps me in awe!
