#WednesdayWalk - the Berry Blossoms Are Out and Birds Are Making Nests...
For this #WednesdayWalk, an initiative started by @tattoodjay, I'm actually including some photos from last week showing the different successions of blossoms happening on the berry bushes.
I love this time of year with so many bushes blooming and such a sweetness in the air!
We had pincherries blooming followed by Saskatoon berries blooming plus the divine scented plum trees. This was followed by the chokecherries and apples.
One spectacular display was the Marsh Marigolds which had popped up along the path to our house. For many years there was not a one, now with the wet years there is a whole flood of them I love the bright splash of color!

I wish I could record the smell of the blossoms especially the exquisite scent of the plum tree!

We had some funny orange glow in the sky from the wildfires in Alberta which made for some interesting pictures.

We had an interesting thing just start happening this week - a pair of birds are building their nest on top of our outdoor light right by our living room window so we can watch the whole process of the nest building until the baby birds learn to fly and leave the nest.

One part I don't like about this time of year is the amount of mosquitoes! Although since I took this video of the swarms of mosquitoes there has been big hatches of dragonflies which is keeping the numbers down. I love those dragonflies!

Just the mention of mosquitoes I am out of there, good to hear dragonflies will increase in numbers to hunt those buzzy things down.
Flowers with soft fragrance on the air, time to take Bruno for another walk, enjoy the short period of blooming, couple of weeks and they are all gone.
If we get so much bushes in our yard...we start hunting for snakes...so we avoid bushes...but marigold is like flower bed on the way

such a beautiful walk with Nature, love all the fresh greens, not so much the Mosquitos and bugs that also come at this time of year I am glad the dragon flies are keeping them at bay

That looks like an awesome walk! Coincidentally I also had a walk yesterday...but it's not that nature, hehe. It's significantly harder to find nature around here.
