Wednesday Walk: By The River
Before getting into the vehicle and driving to the river, My Wednesday walk started out with the Blue Jay waiting on the deck post for some treats this cold March morning.
This unknown walker, on the Confederation Trail beside the river, wasn’t afraid to brave the cold and go for a morning walk.
Even a raven checks out the river. There’s more snow piled up then the last time I was here.
Looking across the frozen Montague River. I don’t see much sign of life around. There is no open water for the ducks or geese today.
Hopefully the sun will come out later today and melt some of the snow and ice.

Oh, that bluejay really caught my eye! Such a cold day for a #WednesdayWalk, and even though it is beautiful, I shivered as wandered through the post.
Oh, but what a pretty trail~ Poor ducks!

Cold here too... not like your area but it's cold and there seems no end in sight!
