Where To Begin With... For My Wednesday Walk.

in #wednesdaywalk5 years ago

Seriously, I got bit confused when start writing the post on #WednesdayWalk initiated by @tattoodjay. Few things keep bothering me considering I have so much things to share
"What to write and how to begin??"

So many things to find and to explore on a single day. We have, Tribal Festival , Green Fields, Fungi, River and Wild Flower to cover my Wednesday morning walk.

Actually, I went out early morning to a nearby Tribal village to attend their festival. The festival meant to please the jungle god . I was bit late in reaching their function as they were celebrating it throughout the night and the function already coming to an end. However, I went to explore the jungle and nature on my way with a glimpse of their festival very early.

The first thing that begin my morning was a "Fungi" which was grown hardly 4 inches from ground.

Thanks to Google Lens and Wikipedia that helps me to identify this as Podaxis Pistilaries

Podaxis pistillaris is a very distinctive relative of the puffballs. It grows to 15 cm high and has a hard, woody stem. The large cap, which protects the blackish spore-bearing tissue, splits, and usually falls away at maturity, allowing the spores to be dispersed by wind.

In simple terminology, it belongs from the Mushroom family. I think we have the smaller variety grown in the wilderness. Standing alone in the area where I walking through.
A further down towards the jungle, I went to find another piece which looks like to be a Bird claw.

Completely covered in mud or say Termite. It looks like a bird's leg piece which is stranded in the wilderness. The adventurous jungle life. My area is full of it, and finding strange things while walking around is not a surprise.
I always love to pass through the jungle, especially for the River. The Tribal village is across the other side. The river is flowing rapidly due to recent rain and watching the look at a distance is quite magnificent.

I have to cross over through those big Boulders actually. There is no bridge around. Infact we can cross it through the river from other location. But now, I was quite enjoying getting my feet wash on those milky flowing water.

The banks of river has many wild weeds or shrubs, and a beautiful purple flower. There wer lot of shrubs around .The flower has grown a lot in numbers looking beautiful making the river bank quite picturesheque

Thanks again to Google Lenses to find its name, which is commonly called Ipomoea Carnes. These plants grown in marshy areas with stem growing up to 10-12 feet in height.

Moving across the river, we came across a Green fields in middle of the jungle. The farming field has completelly looks like a Green bed and the idle baron land is completelly filled with staple crop. Love this natural greenary that makes the place trully awesome.

Getting paas through, River, Farming Fields and through to the jungle, we reached to the tribal village. It was early morning with watch ticking at 6.AM . The sounds of tribal folk songs is coming to my ears. It was kind of chorus sung together by many.

As I entered the village, the sense of festival is all around, it was giving quite a colourful appearance. The street was decorated and few women dancing and singing in middle of the road.

They were actually circling around a Tree piece called "Karma". Like any old tribes across the globe they too have the beliefs that the jungle god help them to survive and overcoming all obstacles. The age old practices is still going around. I asked a lady and she said, that all the women were kept dancing and singing throughout the night circling around the tree. They worship the tree while night. And little later they will immersed the Tree into flowing water. The same river , that I crossed over.

Soon there were possession and many people joining the big hurdle towards the river. I missed to take part in the immersing procession and neither I able to take picture.

Anyway, it was fun around attending their festival. As I was watching from a distance, I met this scary looking Caterpillar on the door, looking at me or the festival.

So the walk came to end going back home in the afternoon, passing through everything that I saw in morning. Again passing through fields, river and the jungle to my home. A wonderful day after exploring many things and witnesing the tribal culture first time.

Keep walking around, you never know when so many things come around your day to make it a fantastic and memorable day.

Stay Calm....Keep Steeming..

STEEM ON....

THANKS & NAMASTE
