Biggest Threats to the Legal Cannabis Industry
As cannabis becomes legal throughout the United States and across the world, threats to the industry stand to derail the emerging legal industry.
Existing black market, regulations and banking all are areas where significant changes need to occur to support this new growth industry.
Legalization has it's challeneges, and this is a multifaceted issue. It's not as simple as lawmakers in Washington signing bills. Existing systems must be changed and augmented. Details including supply chains and enforcement must be updated. The new Banking Security Bill will help banks facilitate transactions.
Cannabis has been legalized in both Canada and Uruguay. It'll be a long road to legalization here, and all the angles need to be worked out after a lengthy prohibition, which began in 1937.
