The Scale and Magnitude of the Current Legalization of Cannabis is Huge- The Birth of a New Industry
From investments on Wallstreet to technological advancements to recreational and medicinal uses, cannabis is sparking a whole new industry. Cannabis has been illegal since 1937 Marijuana Tax Act and is slowly becoming legal throughout America today.
The sheer amount of jobs, economic activity and relief this industry promises to create is immense. The industry stands at almost $25 billion today, and is growing in leaps and bounds. Illinois was the 11th state to legalize cannabis, and many more are eyeing the proposition.
Many new jobs and medicines will be created as cannabis products are legalized. The FDA's ruling on the limitation of sales and usage of CBD oil is something to watch for, but could be reduced in the future.
