Weekend Recap
This weekend was a little more work than most, but still enjoyable.
On Saturday, my wife spent some time with her friends so I watched the kids most of the day. It was a good time, but man, is it a lot of work! We spent most of the afternoon outside, and ended up eating outside (pizza) and stayed out until dark. I did snap one cute picture of the kids sitting in baskets and reading:
Sunday ended up being a work day, as we cleared out, cleaned out, and reorganized the garage. It’s always a good idea to periodically purge stuff you dont use, and therefore, do not really need, which was the goal of this. The kids toys are getting bigger and more abundant as they grow older, so reorganizing was needed so that we could feel the garage was at least controlled chaos. One thing the kids thought was funny was mom put on her old catcher’s gear from when she played softball in high school. I tossed her some pitches with Jacob batting and we struck him out a bunch of times... essentially a no-hitter 😉 Yes, we still got it Jacob!
I grilled some delicious burgers to close the weekend out:
Overall, it was a good weekend and I will sleep well tonight!
