Weekend wood to stone photo v.2.0
Everyone loves fossil (and mummified) wood! You do, I do, we all do! Here is a photo to make your weekend awesome of course with some music to make you think about the life journey this tree took to rock.
Personal photo, pen for scale. Can you see the rings? This was once a living, breathing tree... Fairly think rings too. Fast growing species, maybe it was in a warm climate allowing for thick rings? Thoughts? Based on this line of reasoning, perhaps tropical music would suit, but I feel like some Nordic folk music, because it is awesome.
Thus, I leave you with some Norwegian folk music that makes me think of thick dark forests (pre-fossil).
Viking peace...
Time to go north!
Enjoy and keep yaking!
