Whaleshares is a social sharing platform similar to Steemit where users share their content and get rewarded for their effort. It is a little different from Steemit in the use of Whaletokes to reward content. Whaletokens are tokens owned by bigger accounts which large whalestakes that provide greater rewards than the regular individual accounts. Most Whaletokens cannot be traded on the open market and can only be used to reward posts or articles.

To sign up anew on Whaleshares, one would need to have a Bitshares account as this is the only account where you can receive and use Whaletokens. Whaletokens can be easily gotten or earned through participating in contests and on the different Discord Whaleshares communities. To learn more about Whaleshares, please check here.
