Beautiful little hairy seed pods, I posted Eriosema cordatum before, although here are the flowers again
Eriosema are considered to be an 'African viagra' plant although it is the rootstock that is used medicinally, not the seeds.
The Guinea fowls that live on the hill are big fans of the seeds and they seem to eat most of them off the plants just as soon as they are ripe. Here are some pods that have been stripped out by the birds.
The Guinea fowl are wild but they aren't that afraid of people: you can't approach them but they come near our houses and often come to eat the mulberries that have fallen off the tree.
Nice to see these beautiful flowers that grow almost on the stones.
We have guinea fowls called small chickens, which help to fight the Colorado beetles.
Another lovely flowering plant.
