In the BLINK of an Eye!
Another Blink Of An Eye!
Third Eye Blind Nictating Membranes
Again, out walking The Nature, and ran into a Red Tailed Hawk. A while ago, I mentioned that many raptors have a third eyelid. Called a nictating membrane, its basically clear and allows the bird to keep the eye wet, and clean, while also being basically, remaining focused on prey.
Urban Arboretum
Twas a nice sunny, 63 day, recently, so I slipped over to Mt. Auburn Cemetery for some shots.
Third Eye Blinkless
A moment later, hmm, literally a blink of the eye later... without the blink...
