Finally Snow in Munich

Today I had to take the tube aka U-Bahn to get to work as my car is totally covered by snow and no chance to move it at the moment. Seems the global warming took a break these days. I love snow by the way as a winter boy so going out for some sledding today again.

Too much snow for some schools too!

Wish I was a kid again as School is cancelled in some places here in Bavaria. It's snowing and snowing: More and more schools in the south of the Free State are therefore closed. Where there is no snow in Bavaria today and in the next few days - the current overview.

The districts of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Miesbach as well as the city of Memmingen are particularly affected by the snow masses. Classes there will be cancelled until Friday.

According to the Ministry of Education, other districts are also experiencing some cancellations. In the district of Berchtesgadener Land the following schools will be closed until Friday:

  • Primary school Anger

  • Elementary school Neukirchen

  • Elementary school Berchtesgaden

  • Secondary school Berchtesgaden

  • Primary school Bischofswiesen

  • Secondary school Bischofswiesen

  • Primary school Marktschellenberg

  • Primary school Ramsau

  • Primary school Schönau a. Königssee

  • Grammar school Berchtesgaden

  • CJD Christophorus Schools Berchtesgaden

Well it is great if our an stay at home and pay, but for the rest.
