The Reports from the Witnesses 2018-07-08

The Reports from the Witnesses aims to provide the community with a summary of what all the witnesses have been up to. Every week, I collect all of the reports from the individual witnesses and assemble them into a single aggregated report. New witness announcements and witness suspension announcements are included in the report as well.

Witnesses can continue posting their posts to the witness-category and/or witness-update tags, and I will assemble everything I find there. If I miss any reports, just let me know and I will correct it. If you want to direct message me a report via chat, that is fine too.

Some Notes:

  • Many witnesses do not report every week, and prefer to only report when they have updates.
  • I recommend that you include communication as one of your criteria for evaluating witnesses, but keep in mind - it is not the only criteria. There are some witnesses that prefer to work "behind the scenes", and do not do much as far as reports.
  • For witnesses that are not currently posting any reports, I would encourage you to provide the community with at least some insight into what you are currently working on :)

      By the way, I can't upload photos to my posts, comments, on Steemit, any longer. Was able to upload pictures before for the past 12 months from June 2017 until July 2018, until just a few days ago when I only get an object Object error message but for all kinds of photos, even photos smaller than 1 MB in size. My bandwidth is over 90% according to Steemd.com. I want to know if I have reached some kind of limit or something.

      Can you open a condenser GitHub issue? Ideally if you can check the dev console in your browser and provide any details from the error section - that would help.

      At the moment, I can upload photos.

      Yesterday, was not able to upload.

      I doubt that anything changed in the past day.

      But I can try to look in the dev console of Firefox. What is the shortcut for that? I think it is ctrl+shift+k to get to the web console. Is the dev console not the same as the web console in Firefox? Are you talking about something in my web browser or something like an app of Steem or something else?

      Next Time.

      I probably cannot see what my problem might have been right now because I can upload right now. If it happens again, I will try to look at the dev console like you said.

        Thanks for this update @timcliff. You are doing a wonderful job! I love the STEEM blockchain. Working witnesses especially those working round the clock, need to be commended.

        Hey Tim.

        I sent this info to a couple places but figured this is big enough to let you know of also.

        Sorry to bother you but this new account is out of control and I mean not just on my page.

        Please have a look, it is one of the worst I have ever seen! I even warned them last nite.... they are going thru posts a year old and commenting on everything......It must be a bot or something.
