Si Tan Solo Supieran... El Abuso De Los Bid-Bot

As usual we made a translated version of our weekly summary on @castellano. We look to get to more people and show to all communities our weekly activities and achievements.

As our community is spanish speaker we wanted to translate this post into spanish because it was a really interesting article wrote by @meno. The post expose some problems: the abuse how bidbots are used and the lack of education of the users about the economic sistem of the chain (especially the newbies). At the same time, he propose a very interesting solution to this, to develop a Bot that leave a comment in the post, reporting an X % of their investment loss for the use of bidbots, after the post had finished paying out. The reason we translate this post is we believe this info needs to be known. Knowledge is power, and (how @meno said) “the bidbots become not a money printing machine, as many Steemians seem to think they are, but a promotional tool, as they should be”, if they only knew this, they wouldn't use this service as much. In addition to that, we will like to highlight some details that hispanic community has when it comes to curation. the capital we poses to curate content, is not the same as the english community has. The reason why having a post in the trending page is profitable, is because of its views and the organic traffic it generates, and then the votes who damp the impact of the losses of the invested money on bots. However, the capital to curate in Spanish is not enough to recover the investment, and the ones who poses the capital, don't use the trending page to curate. Respective to our opinion, in this particular moment, when Steem is being print, is not profitable to use bots to increase SP. If you want to invest into your account, do Power-Up.

The good and the bad

This was a very particular week on the Steem world, specially for our witness. The chain frozen for a couple of hours. A user called @nijeah take out X amount of negative Vest. When noticed this, they frozen the chain in the 23646014 block to preserve more damages and stay other users accounts secure. Steemit.inc and the developers of the Steem blockchain worked hard to solve this situation. After a couple of hours, the platform went normal again, and the witnesses were provided with a tool to refresh the servers.

To those who want to know more about this situation, we will left a link you can check to have more details here.
