Witness update : progress on testing, environment setup
This is a quick followup to the previous posts on establishing a witness governance standard with the inputs from the stake holders. I must accept that the progress was slower than expected - looks like we are all tired and few days of rest is needed!
Action items in progress
- A condenser deployment which @yuriks2000 completed successfully & I will wait for him to provide an update
- @reggaemuffin has cleaned up the code, added few test cases etc
- I have failed bringing up the full node : looks like I need to find the right type of CPU with better replay support
- successfully setup Tinman and are able to generate snapshots and we also figured out couple of issues [1]
Goals for next week
- Generate more transactions on the official TESTNET via condensor
- Generate more transactions on the official TESTNET via Tinman (@bobinson)
- Add more test cases to Tinman, PEP8, code reviews etc
- Add tests to the STEEM code base
