Also note a lot of this will be repeated, except I will focus on different changes I'd like to see, add more to the newly added witnesses I've voted for, as well as reviews and digests I've read and discussion around witness topics. I'll try to do this just once a month since it won't change very much. For my own witness update I will trying to get some more done and then release and update once I've finally got a block as well.

Changes I'd Like To See
Previously I talked about the use of tags and I still feel the same, here is an article I wrote and talked about:
I've been working on my WCA project, but I haven't made a full out post or finalized it yet as I want to setup the steemit account and social media for it before I go totally live with everything I will do for it.
Moving forward there are some great changes happening I will comment on at the bottom of this article. So what I'd like to see from witnesses is again more community involvement and continuing to improve communications and hopefully get more involvement in WCA. I'm starting to push more for charities and I love what @sircork is doing with @youarehope and other independent entities like @fundition helping charities have better access and a bigger voice.

I went over inactive witnesses and using SteemPlus to do your witness voting and check information on incoming and outgoing votes. I also share the tool where you can see who is getting the most vests in the top 20 witnesses and from whom.

I'll comment on 2. first. I can't wait to see communities roll out on here as I think it will be a massive point of progress to help Steem become the ultimate social blockchain. I hope everyone is just as excited for this change and I'd like to hear what you expect and or want to see with communities.
Commenting on 1. now. So there are many many updates coming soon, and I think the changes to self voting are a great way to promote and improve legitimate curation. I'm glad they are letting their registration fee directly reflect witness policy as it's more accurately represented. I'm very interested to learn more about RCs for bandwidth use and how they will change mass memoing and other spam like forms of communication. By the way, if you're missing my memos, I can't send them anymore as the software I had doesn't work anymore, however @money-dreamer said they were fixing it.
Their comment on how RCs or resource credits will change things was:
… create a system that 1) more efficiently allocates blockchain resources; 2) more accurately measures the true cost of running the blockchain; and 3) enables Steem developers to create more predictable user experiences
They are making orders expire which should help the load on the network. One very big change is making the comment limit only 3 seconds down from 20 seconds. It was a hassle to wait all the time between commenting. This may encourage more comment spam, but that will just make it easier to identify spammers compared to memo spam which may also change from the RCs. They made other misc changes and fixed some abusive/exploitative issues on the platform. All in all a great update and we're excited to see it all come into play. Let me know your thoughts!

Witness Communications Assembly
An initiative to improve transparency, communications, and overall trust between witnesses and the rest of the community. To start it is a discord server, but we aim to build something much bigger moving forward.

Interesting list of choices. Gotta ask though -- Banfield? seriously? Have you looked at his recent posts and behaviour? Actually, his past history not only on this platform but others. The concept of him representing this platform is enough to make anyone's skin crawl.
You're out of date on the cork witness. That account has become @noblewitness -- they posted announcements about the change. Good people, doing good work. I'd suggest changing the vote to them.
Should also mention the next Witness Chat in the Steemit Ramble discord is July 21st at 11am EDT. The chat is for ALL witnesses regardless of rank and members of the community to come together to talk about the platform and concerns. The previous 4 have been well attended.

Respectfully, I disagree with the @ paulag vote. She recently released (then removed) a shit list on people that was completely uncalled for. I find that irresponsible.
Otherwise, I think you got solid lineup there and thanks for pointing out the reasons why you voted for these witnesses.
Really eh? That's the issue with two people running a witness account I guess. Was the list just people they didn't like or was it like a scam/low rep list
it was a consolidation of the blacklists and then she added what she called an exclusion list which included a lot of good people on the platform. From the little bit of information provided by their announcement of what they seem to think was a good thing ... anyone who had created additional accounts on the blockchain was on her exclusion list. She took it down after people noticed the extent of the people on the exclusion list. The following day a post that said it included an apology was put up but it read as more 'sorry you didn't understand me' than 'sorry I created it without decent communication of my purpose'
jeez eh, yeah multiple accounts shouldn't be penalized, that is worth losing a vote
I notice you have Noble witness listed twice and one I have a lot of respect for in the development aspect is @good-karma. His recent advancements with esteem are pretty impressive. May want to take a look at that buddy😎

I'd love to see you throw a vote to @enginewitty, a witness who does a ton of community support and engagement. Like @steemgigs, he is making a positive impact helping user retention and user education through many initiatives, on Steemit and in discord. He is another witness who supports @youarehope and other Steem-based charities, as well.
I'll check into @enginewitty! What are they most known for? I went on their profile and couldn't find any witness related information @Steemgigs is mostly managed by @surpassinggoogle
@enginewitty is the man behind @thealliance and @killerwhale. The Alliance is a family-like community that encourages high-quality posts and engaged curation. The community does a number of things to boost @youarehope, @tarc, and other charities, as well as supporting user-retention initiatives like @welcomewagon. @killerwhale also runs contests that give away SBD, open to anyone. But what cinches my vote is Witty's constant generosity and humble support of so many people.

I concur with @katrina-ariel on @enginewitty. As for @steemgigs it is @surpassinggoogle aka Terry. He has done a lot of really good work in the Indonesian community on here and out of that has come the concept of uLogs which was a great way to encouraging that community and now others to produce original content. Stop into the steemgigs discord on Saturday and have a listen to the well attended community meeting he holds there. Definitely a community builder.
