A Winning Smile
Lips refused to budge
paralyzed by pain
catching a stray drop
from the ocular rain.
Despair has it cornered
but hope still fights
striking the last match
in the dimming lights
Hell's teeth bare
twitching lips warn
Not all is lost
A smile is born.
