It is interesting how some people would think of an accountant as the most boring job ever, and other really like the idea of dealing with spread sheets and moving number around.
To be honest, it's not only moving numbers. We need to understand the tax System. In fact, as a former chancellor of the german confederation said: "Those who must pay taxes are also allowed to save taxes." (more or less). This is also a big part of our Job. We try to support our clients in saving costs, and taxes are part of costs, either for companies and for Individuals. There are lots of legal possibilities to save this kind of costs. But one can't advise if he doesn't know the rules.
