World Of Hip Hop #8 - Introducing "Istanbul Trip" [EN/DE]
Every week I introduce you to rappers from all over the world, to expand your horizon! Hip Hop is a worldwide movement that knows no boundaries and does not stop at race, gender, skin colour or other things.
Hello readers! Welcome to the weekly issue of #worldofhiphop. This time we're going to Turkey. Listen and be amazed, there are not only delicious food, beautiful beaches and an ancient culture but also quite awesome rap.
The group Istanbul Trip obviously comes from Istanbul and the track or video I saw of them starts with a graffiti artist running through the night and showing the houses with the symbol of Istanbul Trip. The rap is quite dark and aggressive but sounds nicely rhymed and has a cool flow!
I can't say much about the texts as such because my Turkish is non-existent and my Turkish buddy was not available for translation. So far I could only find out that there are 6 different rappers, unfortunately I could not find out more because of the language barrier.

Hallo Leser! Willkommen zur wöchentlichen Ausgabe von #worldofhiphop. Dieses mal geht's in die Türkei. Man höre und staune, es gibt dort nicht nur äußerst leckeres Essen, schöne Strände und eine uralte Kultur sondern auch ziemlich geilen Rap
Die Gruppe Istanbul Trip kommt offensichtlich aus Istanbul und der Track bzw. das Video das ich von ihnen gesehen habe beginnt mit einem Grafitti-Künstler der durch die Nacht rennt und die Häuser mit dem Symbol von IstanbulTrip zutaggt. Der Rap ist recht düster und aggressiv klingt aber schön gereimt und hat einen geilen flow!
Zu den Texten als solches kann ich nicht viel sagen da mein Türkisch nicht existent ist und mein türkischer Kumpel nicht zur Übersetzung zur verfügung stand. Zu den Künstlern konnte ich bisher nur rausfinden das es 6 verschiedene Rapper sind, mehr blieb mir durch die Sprachbarriere leider verwehrt herauszufinden.
