His other sons and daughters, the Titans and the Titanides were also very powerful beings, perhaps the most powerful and ambitious was the youngest, Cronos, who envied the power of his father whom he considered a tyrant who had imprisoned his other children and who governed with terror, Cronos went to Gea (his mother) who forged a powerful weapon (A sickle), she resented Uranus for the imprisonment of their other children, whom Cronos released, and so with his brothers declared openly war on his father.

With the help of his mother and armed with his sickle, Cronos castrated his father and threw his member into the sea, Aphrodite was born from the foam (but that's another story), the point is that now Cronos was the lord of everything.

Uranus was dethroned and he prophesied to his son that it would happen to him as well as to him, one of his sons was going to snatch his throne, but Cronus promised to be different from his father and everything was happiness, he even married Rhea (nature ) and everything was peace, so much so that this period was called the golden age, lived in harmony, there were no laws because people did the right thing, but Cronos began to go mad because of the prophecy and when his first son was born, he He ate it, then he imprisoned his brothers again (Cyclops and Hecatonchires).

His reign became even worse than that of his father and to top it off every time one of his children was born, Cronus devoured him to prevent anyone from taking his throne, 5 sons and daughters had and all ate. (Demeter, Hades, Hestia, Hera and Poseidon)

When the sixth was born, Rhea hid him on the island of Crete and wrapped a pair of rocks in a blanket that he handed to Cronos, he anxiously devoured the supposed child with such speed that he did not notice the deception, that little one they hid was Zeus. Zeus knew that the titans were much more powerful than them so he decided to go to the Tartar and release the Cyclops and the Hecatonchires that joined the side of the Olympian gods and thus began the war of titans or the Titanomachy.

The hecatonchires with their 100 arms threw huge stones at the titans, the war lasted 10 years and both sides were aware of what was at stake. Although the titanides remained neutral in the war (Rhea, Tea, Themis, etc.) the Titans were very powerful.

But after releasing 3 cyclops from a deep well of Tartarus, the brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon receive 3 gifts made by grateful Cyclops.

Hades is given an invisibility helmet.
