Diana was a brave little girl.

She had a father and a mother who loved her very much.

She also had an old grandmother named Ruby who loved her much, much more.

Ruby gave her wonderful presents for her birthday.

One birthday she got a teddy bear as big as she was!

It had a twinkle in its eye.

Diana was so excited she named it Roo after her grandmother right away.

The grandmother smiled.

Diana slept with Roo every night, and Roo never left her side.

Diana did this for years as Roo slowly became old and torn.

Diana still loved Roo, though.

Then one day her grandmother died.

Her family went to the funeral and Roo came too.

Diana was allowed to stand on a chair to look into the casket at her grandmother.

Noticing her grandmother was not awake, Diana asked if she was sleeping.

Her mother and father were unsure how to answer, but father said,

“Yes, she will sleep for a very long time. Right here in this casket.”

Diana stared at her grandmother, then put Roo inside the casket.

She looked up at her father and said, “Grandmother will need Roo now. Thank you, Grandmother, for Roo.”

Diana's mother and father were very surprised and happy.

Diana's father and mother stood in the doorway that night as Diana slept soundly with a pillow in her arms and a smile on her face.

They were not yet proud of the warm daughter they would raise.

repeatedly following and unfollowing me is not a way to make me want to follow you !!!

You must have Gina turned on. I'm sorry about that. You were showing up in my feed even though I wasn't following you. Thought turning it off and back on again would work.

I found out what was going on after a Discord chat, so I'm a little less ignorant now. Thanks for letting me know, too. I'll attempt to anger one less person in the future with this knowledge.

No problem I just wanted to let you know :)

and Yes I use Gina such a handy tool I would be lost without it

Such a sweet story and I returned the follow :)
