Another part of a poem I'm working on.

This one is really short and I'm hesitant to even post it for that reason, but I've been trying to post twice a day and.. Might as well!

I see with new eyes. 👽
I now see the disguise.
Maybe in time..
I can starve the beast until it dies.
Or hug it until it cries.
Or use those two techniques combined.
And if not at least I tried.
At least I tried.
Making some progress in life.
Perhaps it's not too late.
To do more things right.
To figure out this hate.
With wisdom applied.
Moving towards the gate.
With an inner drive.
I wonder what awaits..?
In the light.
