What is inspiration?
Most people will tell you the process of being stimulated to do or feel something usually caused by someone or something. It can fill you with either happiness, determination, or both. It doesn’t seem like in today’s world that a lot of people have someone who inspires them. Or have positive role models to inspire them, as most people are corrupt and not the best. Is it really inspiring if it doesn’t make you want to better yourself? More often than not, for me, inspiration has come in the form of a person or an idea and usually an extremely beautifully hearted person.

Seeing true goodness in and gentleness in a person in a world where it seems to be a rarity, and when I get to meet someone like that it is such an honor. Seeing someone overcome huge obstacles and learn so quickly from them or adapting to new tasks in a heartbeat, a love for peace and harmony driving the base of their actions. It hasn't happened much in my life but the few times it has and I've connected with such a person it was always an amazing feeling. I suffer from severe depression and several kinds of anxiety and having someone so wise and mature and loving popup is always helpful.

I have overcome a lot of things I thought I never could and have embraced ideas I never wanted to. I’ve faced a lot of darkness and have gained control over a lot of it looking towards those who have inspired me. When someone asks me what inspiration is, I think that is my answer. Someone to look up to, someone with love and righteousness like you’ve never seen with the wisdom and experience to use it. Not someone who is perfect, but someone who struggles to improve themselves for the benefit of everyone around them and that is something they consistently work on wanting nothing but love and harmony in return and it truly makes my heart happy to know and be inspired by someone who is so genuine and loving in this world and to constantly try and learn and emulate everything I've seen from those people. Inspiration makes you want to better yourself for the world, yourself, and those you love. Shouldn't that be something everyone wants?

For me, it comes from a few different places. Sometimes it's the outdoors that drive me to explore. Freedom to act as I see fit upon my inspiration is vital. Sometimes a jar of tea inspires me to write. Sometimes it's a mustard seed of hope that moves me.
I agree with you, and yes those people are truly a rarity. When you do find them, you want to treasure them. My wife is my inspiration. Judy also is a great inspiration. They are so much better than me... my wife is so full of love she loves everyone.... I wish I could be more like my wife.

Although comparing ourselves to one another isn't the best thing, I think we can all use a little improvement, and drawing from those who inspire us can be a big push to build on who we already are and focus on what we need to improve in.
This should help a lot of people.

Inspiration comes in many forms. Finding inspiration in another human is a wonderful thing. Truly, we all should let our light shine because you never know who it could inspire.
