Article - The history of music artists: The case of The Doors!
The Doors was an American rock band, and it was established in 1965 in Los Angeles.
The name «The Doors» is a funny name. You can open or close a door, and you can choose the opening position. Otherwise, it is just closed. And to think in the same way with the brain and your mind, you determine whether you will open or close yourself in relation to yourself and to other people. You can chat with yourself or the world, and you should be good and polite inside yourself, instead of hating someone. The deepest philosophy in life is loving. And you should always try to be the best, and to associate with words and symbols in accordance with norms, laws, rules and standards.
The band «The Doors» has sold between 80 millions and 100 millions worldwide! Hence, they have been visible with selling, and the motivation is that they loved people, and appreciated the ways we respect and admire each other! We have all a function in life, regardless of school background and the research practice we have! «The Doors» was containing four members; It was the keyboardist Ray Manzarek, the world known vocalist Jim Morrison, the drummer John Densmore and the guitarist Robby Krieger. Accordingly, there was quality on the band, and many people have since the bands existence appreciated what they have heard and the show they have seen!
The band was controversial in the end of 1960s and in the beginning of 1970s. It was much related to the behavior to Jim Morrison. He died too young, but he produced a lot being in life. In life, you are either visible or invisible, and you determine much efforts of what you are doing. But the talent is doing your unique, and we should always try to do our best. In principle, we can be visible in all information channels in the world, and we are always part of something greater. That is also true for all doctorates you find! The problems with Jim Morrison was due to his cryptic texts and his unpredictable stage performances. We cannot have trouble in a band, there is much better if there is harmony there!
To become rich in life, you need several things. The first is schools and research background. And the second thing is the capacity of receiving awards. And you can be better than your family and your whole cluster of friends many places in the world. We need money and recognition to be great, and the best situation you can have is not necessarily in a university! You should be a bit sceptical in life, and you should not be afraid of being different from the crowds!
The Doors was constituted after Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek met each other at Venice Beach in Los Angeles in July in 1965. Morrison told that he wrote songs, and Manzarek convinced Morrison that he should sing an early version of «Moonlight Drive». That is the situation when the moon is giving light to the moon, and there is a force in the moon, and it has a sensible place in nature. Manzarek was impressed of the level and the talent to Morrison. That meant that the meaning was to start a band together! And they really did it! In August 1965 came John Densmore, and in September they got Robby Krieger!
The band was given its name after its debut album «The Doors», and this was done in August in 1966. The second album came in 1967, and it was made during the months from May to August, and it was named «Strange Days». Life is strange and normal, and such are all experiences in all lives through all times. We are just in human nature in our great nature here at earth. And being in the organizations is just to placed yourself inside a building! Or you can represent an organization by being outside the building doing somethings. And the people you meet, can have done failures or correct things with you. You will always remember all humans you have been in contact with, and you try to make positive og strong relations forever! You need or need to know the relations many times, also at home!
Jim Morrison did not always have the right impression and he was something doing something strange in his performances, also being unreliable with the police. Therefore, his public appearances were not always acceptable! You should be obedient to authority! He was arrested during a concert in December 1967 in New Haven in Connecticut!
Jim Morrison had problems with alcohol and with drug addiction. Hence, he ended his life too young, since his body could not manage all this trouble and all this pressure. The recording of the band´s third album was called for «Waiting for the Sun». We are waiting for the sun, when there is darkness in nature. And the light from the sun, when the sun is there, is strong! Jim Morrison did not stop his problematic life, and accordingly he was taken by the police several times! And sometimes he did strange and unusual things in the performances! He died of heart attack sitting in a bathtub in Paris in his flat! The memory of Jim Morrison will always be there, but he was too controversial with his doings, and he was not productive in music writing through all his music life!
The melodies that are known from The Doors are their seven albums, and they are much about philosophy of life, and how life is and could be. The other albums in addition to the three mentioned albums are: «The Soft Parade» (1969), «The Morrison Hotel» (1970), «Absolutely Live» (1970) and «L.A. Woman» (1971). In addition to these albums, there is several singles to The Doors, and they came on the lists! The band had six Top 30-hits in USA. There songs were: «Light My Fire», «People Are Strange», «Love Me Two Times», «Touch Me», «Love Her Madly» and «Riders On The Storm». Accordingly, you are a candle in the wind as they said and song to Lady Diana, and life is riding and being together with our souls! We should all be present in life! We are many loving each other, and we are here to be in the same boat! But you should also try to something new and different in relation to all the personalities that are possible to create and to change!
The band has had won several awards, and they have been at several lists with their singles. But you should always operate properly in life, and not make disturbances if it is stupid! The awards are Grammy Lifetime, Achievement Award (2007) and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1993). The Doors was a famous band, and many still like this music. The music kind is rock and bluesrock!
You can find The Doors on You Tube, Spotify and Deezer. The Doors was dissolved in 1973 after Jim Morrison´s death, and they started again in 1978. In the beginning of the 2000s, and the members coming from the band appeared under other names and other bands.
We could find all kinds of being happy and crazy in life. And we do not always find the new solutions in the traditional ways. But we should be normal, and we should also try to do new things that remark that the world is being a richer community with literature, experiences and gestures. One should operate in accordance with norms. And one could be in organizations with exit, voice or loyalty. And one can be in the media with all its attention. When being in an organization you can say what you want, but you must be loyal to be there.
