Juggling air
I have been traveling a lot lately and putting some time and space between myself and others, and Steemit for that matter.
The split second they are all in transition is exactly the moment when you feel uncertainty most, because you realize in the moment that you are juggling air. You cannot grab air, and you can't take it with you when you go. It is there all around you, and the transparency of its invisibility hits you harder than a body of steel and aluminum colliding with a culvert on a seemingly innocent springtime afternoon. The weight of its nothingness bears down like a deluge of poured concrete. And any attempt to remedy wrecks havoc on anything and anyone around you, because in the end you are fighting air. And a one army war will always be won by the contender not present.
I’m a trained architect and experience designer working with an organization called rLoop on designing technology and implementation of the hyperloop and designing a blockchain-enabled platform for the Future of Work.
Apart from poetry, painting and developing my “Handwritten Reveries” illustrated poetry series, I dance tango, ride my beloved vintage BMW motorcycle everywhere two wheels will take me, and design innovative technologies, products, and platforms as part of a decentralized organization of passionate professionals.
