Opportunities

Having and taking full advantage of Opportunity is said to be both luck and labor.

The Truth is however: The harder we work the luckier we will get.

People always tend to wish they had: MORE OPPORTUNITY, MORE ABILITY, TALENT, PERSONAL SKILL OR STRENGTH. All we need to do is:

1. Learn to RECOGNIZE THE OPPORTUNITIES that are already there.
2. Develop & use the skills, talents, abilities and strengths we already possess.

Most successful people have not achieved their success because they have suddenly been given a new talent or opportunity. Invariably they simply developed the opportunity that was always there with the ability and talent they already had. Recognizing an opportunity can of course be difficult in that it often comes to us in the form of a disguise, as a problem or misfortune often in the form of failure itself.

Therefore the best way to find areas of potential opportunity, is to look very closely in the realms of ours and others, problems or defeat.

Many of the world's greatest stories of success gave been created by people who having recognized a problem area and applied themselves to its solution, transformed it into an incredible opportunity.

To find and take advantage of our opportunities, we must look, listen, learn and apply ourselves. Ignore nothing, be creatively open-minded about all things and recognize THE POTENTIAL OF EVERYTHING. This also in particular, very much includes our own ideas and potential.

STIR WHAT YOU HAVE GOT

When it comes to certain talents, skills or abilities it is obvious that some people will be better than others at specific things. NOBODY IS AN ISLAND, or are they good at everything. As such, part of developing our opportunities, personal talents and abilities, is going to find us having to recognize and accept our areas of deficiency and searching out the right people that will help us make up for them.

After all, our talent might be the ability to recognize the opportunity and put the right team together to do something about it. Or in contrast, it would well be someone else who has an opportunity that they want to share with us. It does not matter which way round, take it because, opportunity we should always remember, will never be lost just because we did not take it, be assured it will always find its way to someone else.
