On Monday morning, Marina and Stepan again appeared on the threshold of the Academy.
During this time she was nervous, kept looking around. She always saw a red-haired bandit. Stepan was calm and slightly teased his"wife". Like, there is nothing at night to watch horror and crime stories. But Marina is not reassuring, but, on the contrary, more and more unnerved.
Its such a nervous condition was noticed by vigilant Valentina Petrovna, who immediately brewed a special, soothing tea and drink them girl.
While they were drinking tea, the mentor secretly elicited from her student the reason for her depressed-excited state.
After hearing the story that Marina saw a glimpse in the store of one of the bandits that took her prisoner and from which she escaped to a parallel world, Valentina Petrovna reassuringly stroked the girl's hand and tried to calm her, saying that, in principle, nothing happened. The main thing, the bandit didn't notice them, and to appear in the area where children now live, he could absolutely casually. In addition, with a changed appearance, they have nothing to fear.
But Marina continued to worry. It was disturbing and childhood memories that it evoked from his subconscious over the weekend. She was inclined to tie together the images of creatures, is able to penetrate everywhere, with the image of the bandit. She was amazed why she, Marina, saw that man in the store, and then on the street, and Stepan - no?
Attributed this fact to the fruits of his rich imagination the girl did not want to. She was quite sure of the reality of what was happening.
Her story about the memories and an attempt to link both events, Valentina Petrovna took favor. She said there might be something to it, and if the experts manage to find some clue and pull a thread, there might be new circumstances of the case they're all working on.
Then she laid out on the table in front of Marina a few items.
"Look," said the old woman, " from all the rubbish that was in the chest, the experts thought that the statue and the mineral already known to you were worthy of attention. In addition, they found a pencil that has some magical power...
What, like a magic wand? - not restrained, laughed Marina, but her mentor looked strictly at the girl, they say, do not interfere and continued:

And finally, - here the old woman paused, then sighed and continued, - look with plain handkerchief, however, on it is embroidered with an ornate monogram, resembling the armorial sign of some old family.
Experts, unfortunately, could not determine to which. You see, they don't have much time to deal with such little things as they said.
"Think of the busy ones," she snorted indignantly. They were just lazy. But we'll get to the truth, won't we? - asked to Marina Valentina Petrovna.
She only nodded, speechless with joy, to be involved in such interesting work.
Meanwhile, the teacher continued:
I understand that you and Ivan have unearthed some information about the statue and the mineral. What can you tell me about them?
In principle, nothing special, - stammered Marina, - Ivan could tell You a lot, but, alas, he's not here...
That's right, he's not here, because my dear, you'll have to search your memory and write everything you remember. Also put on paper those memories that visited you on the weekend. I'll go do my own business.
And with that Valentina left the room.
Marina, leaning over the piece of paper, thinking about how to start my story. At the same time in her mind flashed the thought: "Interesting... Scientists and computers are avoided to be used, though it is much easier to create text on the computer, and then it's propagated."
"All right, how do I know what their problems are?" - At this she decided to just deal with in order to carry out the task given by the teacher.
