JANGAN LUPA MINTA AYAH DAN IBU KITA MENDOAKAN KITA
Memohon daripada ibu bapa agar didoakan merupakan amalan sunnah, apatah lagi jika kedua orang tua kita itu soleh dan kita sebagai anak memiliki banyak dosa dan kelalaian.
Ketika anak-anak nabi Ya'qub 'alaihissalam merasa berdosa kerana telah membuang adik mereka Yusuf dan membohongi kedua orang tua mereka, mereka memohon pada ayah mereka agar didoakan ampunan:
"Wahai ayah kami! Mohonkanlah ampunan (kepada Allah) atas dosa-dosa kami, kerana kami adalah orang-orang yang berdosa." (QS Yusuf: 97)
