Philosophical review of Avengers: Infinity War.
I was gonna do a review of Avengers: Infinity War.
But the great show put on by some members of the cast left me reflecting and in a sober mood.
I was truly impressed by the performance of scarlet witch and spiderman.

You could see the fear in spidermans face, when he said "I don't wanna die".
His heightened sense of perception probably made it a ton worse for him. Those seconds felt like an eternity, and the audience could feel and share in his pain.
And you get that feeling of wanting to save him from the state of chaos he finds himself, seeing it seems like something he hasn't experienced before, and he doesn't know how to deal with it.
I now agree he's the best spiderman in recent memory.

My best takeaway was truly seeing Thanos, and the conviction with which he fights for what he truly believes in. His sick dedication to being civilizations saviour, paying the ultimate price just to have the chance to give the multiverse a chance of survival.
After conquering and getting the stones...you see a human side of him. He reflects and count the cost of what it truly cost him. He also takes a time to grief for losing the only light in his life he truly cared about.
But then, in all that, there is a sense of accomplishment, gloating aside... I've done what i set out to do.
Thanos is a really complex purposeful individual, and his portrayal by Josh Brolin is some next level shit.
Analysis can go on and on.
But that porpoise..... Having that drive in whatever we do... Will definitely get us results and make us winners, any day, any time.
Love my posts?
I'll be very glad if you...
Seems to be a thing on this side of the universe. :)

Hey @solcross I watched it last night.
You've made some great points about the subtleties of the characters that raise the overall level of the movie. I did fear that it would become a crash, bang, wallop fest and it was but with enough great dialogue and personality to keep me interested, even excited!
I totally agree with you about Tom Holland. He could well become the best Spidey of them all. We shall see how things pan out.
Chris Pratt just cracks me up every time, in fact the whole Guardians cast are great.
Thanks for posting.
Gaz.
Indeed, everyone was really great... Writing about it could go on and on.... Even though some of them didn't get a lot of screentime... I understand Cap and Black Widow have a lot to do in the next installment, hence their limited roles.
Thanks for dropping by mate. Cheers
